We would like to build opportunities for individuals who are passionate about research, maternal and children’s health and
those who may have an interest in pursuing a career in medicine, research, education, child development, neurology and psychology etc.
Volunteer responsibilities at the APrON Calgary Center may consist of:
- scheduling appointments and greeting participants
- calling participants to remind them about appointments
- organizing and participating in baby parties and interactive activities for mothers and children
- providing child care while the mothers or fathers are busy with testing assessments and data entry
Becoming a volunteer may also lead to additional opportunities as a research assistant with APrON. Research Assistant responsibilities may include:
- assisting with the clinical laboratories at the APrON Centres
- data collection and management
- enhancing the presence of APrON around Calgary and Edmonton
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the APrON Project Manager:
